Le point de vue du spectateur se trouve juste au dessus de la ligne d’horizon. Les arbres principaux se situent sur les lignes de force et sur les points naturels d’intérêt. La dessert occupe presque 2 tiers de l’espace pictural, le ciel moins d un tiers. La ville urbaine cassé et en ruine montre la destruction de l'humanité et les quelques survivants qui montrent sur le grand reflet de la ville portant un arbre mort qui signifie en gros la situation de l'humanité . Magnifique
